Bill Barton, MM, BS, CDT, TE is a Technical Consultant for Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc. Bill is a dental laboratory technician, manager and educator with over 33 years' experience in the industry. He served 25 years in the United States Air Force prior to joining the Ivoclar Vivadent Technical Services Department in 2009.
John T. Chlosta, B.S., CDT, TE, Technical Support Specialist
John T. Chlosta, B.S., CDT, TE, is a Technical Support Specialist at Ivoclar Vivadent Inc. John has worked in the dental technology field for the past 34 years, as a Dental Technician, a laboratory owner of a full service laboratory in the Buffalo, N.Y. area, an educator at Erie Community College in the Dental Laboratory Technology program and as a consultant for other dental companies.
Patrick Coon, CDT, TE
Pat has over 27 years of experience in the dental technology field. He completed the U.S. Air Force's dental laboratory training course at Shepherd Air Force Base (AFB) in Wichita Falls, TX in 1988. He has worked in all areas and capacities in the dental laboratory. His last assignment before retirement was as manager of the Air Forces second largest base dental laboratory managing 14 technicians.
Iain McFarlane, CDT, Technical Consultant
Iain McFarlane C.D.T., is a technical consultant for Ivoclar Vivadent. A lab technician and owner for over seventeen years, he specializes in the use and successful integration of digital technologies and their related materials. He is passionate about helping dental laboratories and technicians better understand and utilize the digital capabilities available to the industry today.
Gary Osborn, CDT
Gary Osborn, CDT has over 27 years experience as a dental laboratory technician and educator. He received his training as a dental technician in the United States Air Force, Sheppard AFB Texas. Prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., Gary taught Dental Laboratory Technology at the Department of Defense Dental Laboratory School at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. In addition, he also worked as a dental product evaluator for the United States Air Force Dental Evaluation and Consultation Service at Great Lakes Naval Station, Illinois.
Rick Rought, CDT, Technical Consultant
Richard Rought started his career in dental laboratory school (Syracuse N.Y.) in 1975. He developed a denture technique, Predictable Removable System “PRS” while owning a quality removable dental laboratory (1983) in Rochester N.Y.Over the entire time with Ivoclar Vivadent through the present he has lectured and trained extensively, primarily in the western states and Canada, with Universities, dental labs and clinical programs. Now his primary focus is developing and presenting removable programs in both implant and dentures at the I.C.D.E. in Sarasota Florida.
Jeff Smith, CDT
Jeff Smith, CDT has over 31 years experience as a dental laboratory technician, manager and educator. He received his training in the United States Air Force and earned a degree in Occupational Education from the Community College of the Air Force. Prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., Jeff taught Dental Laboratory Technology at the Department of Defense Dental Laboratory School at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, where he served as the Course Director.
Martin Schmid, CDT, Technical Consultant
Martin is originally from Germany where he received his dental laboratory training and worked for a number of years in a laboratory before accepting a position in the US in 1994. For the last 15 years Martin owned a full service laboratory while consulting and teaching for various dental manufacturers in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
Don Yancey, CDT, Associate Manager, Florida Center
Mr. Yancey has been involved in the dental profession since 1973. He has gained a broad background in dentistry working chair side with the dental team and as a laboratory technician while in the U.S. Navy. In 2000 he joined Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., as a Technical Prosthetic Specialist then in 2010 as the Field Technical Specialist. Mr. Yancey is certified in Full Dentures and is presently the Associate Manager for the Implant Esthetic Center of Excellence sponsored by Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc.

Connie DeLuca, Education Associate/Technician
Connie graduated from George Brown College as a Dental Technician in 2015. Prior to that, she completed her degree in the Dental Assistant – Level II program in 2010 from George Brown College, and gained experience working in the clinical field for 5 years.

Mitch Jula, MDT
Mitch D. Jula, MDT, B.CS, is the Director of Training, Education and Technology at Wieland Precision Technology and a certified CAD/CAM trainer. With over 20 years experience in the dental industry, he holds degrees in both Dental Technology and Information Technology and worked as a ceramist and implant specialist in the past.
Stacey Bentley, WPT Technical Support Team Lead
Stacey started at Ivoclar Vivadent in 2009. During her time at Ivoclar Vivadent, she has taken on many different roles, both on the production and technical sides. Currently, she is the WPT Technical Support Team Lead and responsible for design review.
Joseph Braxton, Wieland Digital Trainer
Joe started at Ivoclar Vivadent in 2012 as a Production Technician. In 2013, he was promoted to 2nd Shift Supervisor and then again in 2014 he was promoted to Digital Trainer. Joe is currently responsible for Mill and 3Shape training and Technical Support service on both Wieland mills and 3Shape scanners.
Chalfonte Fox, Wieland Technical Specialist
Chalfonte started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2016 as part of the Technical Support Team. Chalfonte assists customers with problems related to their CAD/CAM equipment. Chalfonte has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Electronic Engineering Technologies from ITT Technical Institute that brings a lot of value to his new role.
Claire McCann Griffith, Technical Services Associate
Claire started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2009. During her time at the company, Claire has served in a variety of roles. In her current position as a Technical Services Associate, Claire assists customers with every aspect of scanning and designing.
Sara Head, WPT Technical Support Associate
Sarah started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2014. In 2015, Sarah started as a Production Technician and joined the technical side as a Technical Support Associate and assists customers to overcome their technical challenges especially when it comes to scanning and designing.
Alyse Hifko, Wieland Technical Specialist
Alyse started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2014. Alyse started in Production and then moved up to the Technical Support team. Previous to Ivoclar Vivadent, Alyse worked in a dental laboratory for 6 years, where she has experience with 3Shape and Dental Wings designs.
CJ Holland, Wieland Digital Trainer
C.J. started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2013. He started as a Technical Support Associate and is now a Digital Trainer, where he teaches 3Shape classes. C.J. grew up in the dental industry and has a love for high quality dentistry.

Charley started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2014 as a Wieland Technical Specialist. In 2016, Charley was promoted to IT Support Specialist and helps customers overcome digital challenges.

Tim started with the Ivoclar Vivadent Technical Support team in 2016. He enjoys assisting customers everyday with their technical questions. Tim has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security Systems and Associates in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute.

Renee started with Ivoclar Vivadent in 2012. Starting out on the production side doing case acceptance, Renee now works on the technical side of scanning and designing, while speaking to customers.

Oliver Brix, MDT
Oliver Brix is a trained Master Dental Technician. Since 1989 he has worked in various dental laboratories and dental practices. He specializes in the fields of esthetics and function, all-ceramics, biomechanical occlusal surface design, and Implantology. His favorite restorative techniques are Veneers and Non-Prep Laminates.
Lee Culp, CDT
Lee Culp, CDT is the CEO of Sculpture Studios, a dental laboratory, education and, research and product development center, for new and innovative digital dental technologies, and their applied applications to diagnostic, restorative and surgical dentistry. He is the 2007 recipient of the Kenneth Rudd Award from the American Society of Prosthodontics, the 2007 recipient of the AACD Presidents Award for Excellence in Dental Education, as well as the 2003 recipient of the National Association of Dental Laboratories, Excellence in Education Award, and the 2013 American College of Prosthodontics-Dental Technician Leadership Award.
Arian B. Deutsch, CDT
Arian is a certified dental technician who has studied at the University level in the United States and Canada. From 1993 to 2007 he served as general manager for his father's small, boutique laboratory, Eurotek Dental Concepts in Fairfield county Connecticut, where he specialized in Swissedent technique as taught by Dr. John P. Frush, DDS.
Steve Seunghoon Lee, CDT, MDT
Steve Seunghoon Lee had a private dental laboratory of his own in Gaithersburg, Maryland before relocating to California to attend the UCLA School of Master Dental Ceramist Program. This is the only Master Dental Ceramist program in the United States and Mr. Lee graduated as Master Ceramist of the year in 2008. Soon after Mr. Lee finished his schooling, Dr. Edward A McLaren, the Director of The Center for Esthetic Dental and Master Ceramist Program, appointed Mr. Lee as his co-director.

Jessica Birrell, CDT is the owner of Capture Dental Arts located in Saratoga Springs, Utah. With an interest in the dental field and a passion for artistry, Jessica attended the American Medical & Dental Institute located in Provo, Utah in 1999.

Frank Manfre, BS is Technical Products Key Account Manager for Ivoclar Vivadent based in Atlanta. He has over 14 years of experience working with dental laboratories and dentists. He has also worked as an executive in both profit and non-profit corporations and as a business coach and consultant focused on building highly effective teams, Continuous Quality Improvement, leadership development, strategic planning, and business development.
Pius Obwegeser, MDT
Pius Obwegeser, MDT is responsible for the international course programs for Candulor Switzerland. Instructor at George Brown College teaching courses for denturists, lectures at the Womens' University Seoul Korea and lectures on Gerber Prosthetics at master schools in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Freiburg and Dortmund.

Ross Stanimirov RDT is a registered dental technician from Montreal, Quebec. Ross has been with Ivoclar Vivadent for the last 11 years in the role of National Field Technical Specialist for Canada.
Thomas Wade, CDT
Thomas Wade CDT, has owned and operated New Horizons Dental Laboratory in Broomfield, Colorado since 1983 and has always specialized in the fabrication of Removables and Implant Prosthetics. He is a published author and a global speaker for Nobel Biocare that lectures extensively on both clinical and laboratory aspects of the multiple implant treatment of the edentulous arch, with an emphasis on CAD/CAM milled titanium bar restorations and CBCT digital planning.
