    COURSE DESCRIPTION

     

    Participants will create esthetic restorations with an examination of color theory and its practical application in shading and characterization of IPS e.max CAD restorations produced in a Chairside CAD/CAM System.

    Finishing techniques in the “blue state” will be covered as well as proper burs and tools to achieve natural looking restorations. Demonstration of efficient techniques for anterior and posterior restorations as well as the possibility to create same day lab quality esthetics will allow doctor and staff to fully utilize the potential of IPS e.max CAD in creating maximum esthetics for a variety of clinical situations.

     

    COURSE OBJECTIVES

     

    • Shading and staining techniques to blend with natural dentition


    • Discussion of the theory of proper block selection


    • Creating the contour, anatomy, and surface texture of natural teeth in the anterior region


    • Finishing and processing IPS e.max ZirCAD in the posterior region
